YODOK III & Flønes / Sanders / Strugstad

We are proud to present the collaboration "As We Fade Out Into The Sweet Stream of Oblivion" where three Trondheim-based ensemble meet to create a unique total experience of sound, light and motion!

The sound and drone improvisations of Yodok III, composed by Kristoffer Lo (Highasakite), Tomas Järmyr (Motorpsycho) and Belgian composer and musician Dirk Serries, have joined forces with the Fløen / Sanders / Strugstad dances and a visual duo consisting of the videographer Pekka Stokke and lighting designer Ingrid Skanke Høsøien.

The artists have merged their expressions together in an intense stage performance where dark meets light, body meets floors and bubbling sound meets silence. "We want our expression in the face of each other to exceed and strengthen each other so that we together create our own universe - an alien place where the audience can be sucked into the experience."

The work will be premiere in Trondheim in May, before it comes to Moldejazz and the Theater Vårt during this year's festival
